We are now conducting many of our visits virtually (via Telephone or Video). Our staff will discuss the most appropriate type of appointment with you when you make your appointment.
Note that your Doctor may call from a "No caller ID" or "Blocked" number. Please be patient while waiting for your Doctor to call. There are times we may be running behind.
After booking your video appointment, you will receive an email 48hr before your appointment with a link to your virtual visit. This will come from a 'no-reply' address, and have the subject wording "Your virtual visit appointment".
Please use the "test your connection" link before your appointment to make sure your computer or phone can use the video/microphone for a virtual visit.
5 minutes before your appointment time, please use the "Attend your virtual visit" link to start your consultation. Please be patient while waiting for your Doctor to also connect to your video visit. There are times we may be running behind.
Please read this consent statement as your doctor will ask for your verbal consent before starting your appointment:
Just like online shopping or email, Virtual Care has some inherent privacy and security risks that your health information may be intercepted or unintentionally disclosed. We want to make sure you understand this before we proceed. In order to improve privacy and confidentiality, you should also take steps to participate in this virtual care encounter in a private setting and should not use an employer's or someone else's computer/device as they may be able to access your information. If you want more information, please click here. If it is determined you require a physical exam you may still need to be assessed in person. You should also understand that virtual care is not a substitute for attending the Emergency Department if urgent care is needed.
